UV Protection
The sunshade is made of a durable woven fabric with a UV value of 10 and is certified according to the UV-801 standard. This means it blocks 90% of the sun.
Rain and Wind
Heavy rain will pass through the sunshade. However, dew or light rain will be directed off the shade when it is installed with a slight slope. The sunshade should be taken down in winds exceeding 7 on the Beaufort scale, which corresponds to a gale with speeds of 13.9-17.1 m/s or 50-61 km/h.
Assembly
The sunshade is easy to mount and adjust with the integrated tensioning straps and stainless-steel rings in the corners. It includes the L1040 assembly kit specifically designed for wood. When you intend to mount the shade on a metal structure, select the sunshade without the assembly kit and include the L1044 kit separately.
Custom-made sunshades
Sunshades can be custom-made for different shapes and sizes according to specific needs. Sunshades larger than 25m2 or side lengths exceeding 5 meters are not recommended. The warranty is void for shades larger than 25 m2. An alternative is to use multiple small sunshades to cover a large area.
